If the vehicle was previously registered abroad, customs clearance and excise tax documentation may also be needed.
Visit the Local Municipal Office
Car registration must be done at the local “register car in poland” or municipal office depending on your place of residence. Book an appointment or walk in during working hours. Complete the registration form and submit it along with your documents. For used cars, a valid technical inspection report might be required unless it’s a brand-new vehicle.
Pay the Necessary Fees

The total may range from 180 to 250 PLN depending on the vehicle type and license plate requirements. Payment is generally made on-site at the office’s cash desk or via bank transfer in advance.
Receive Temporary Registration

Collect Final Documents and Plates
